Night creeps at the old church
This is a little church in Carson City, Nevada, (founded during the silver strike in October 1867 styled after graceful style of the old New England Churches.) The historical marker stated it was completed in July 1868 at a cost of $5,500.00! Imagine that! It also stated that during the statewide mining slump of 1878-1900, that the church weathered the stress of that era and continues to play an important role in Carson City's religious and secular life.
Transformed to Black and White with a midnight and high-key filter added.
